Braided Traditions is dedicated to bringing forth the simple principle and Oral Teaching that "Everything is related". Like most things in life, the simpilier something seems, the more difficult it can be to achieve. The objective is to assist those (whether individuals or businesses) that desire to find balance in their lives and operations with Nature. We use proven solutions that incorporate navigation tools with measurable results that support whole-system based sustainable initiatives. That is a mouthful to say that we strive to provide for harmonious resolutions to common modern day issues.
Everything is Related
The principle of "Everything is related" catalyzes that there is a constant ongoing cause and effect relationship taking place throughout all aspects of life's interactions. Symbolically a spider's web represents this concept from a whole-system approach. We have the tools and experience to identify the relationship to the whole and can provide the insight and roadmap on how to connect on a micro and macro level in a balanced, measurable way.
What We Do
Braided Traditions is based in beautiful southern Colorado overlooking the La Plata Mountains in Durango. The outdoor lifestyle and commitment to living by the principle that "Everything is related" provides a constant and continuous relationship to Nature. This relationship is maintained in all services that we provide to our clients and allows us to bring a whole-system approach using the Circle to all activities and interactions. Our experienced team provides such services as sustainability assessments and scorecard programs, strategic planning, assistance in Corporate Social Responsibility reporting, group and corporate eco-based experiences, as well as outreach and educational programs. We collaborate with businesses, non-profits and educational organizations of all shapes and sizes from small and mid-sized companies to leading Fortune 500 organizations. What they all have in common is that they are interested in excelling while maintaining a balanced whole perspective to all Earth's inhabitants, including humans, plants, minerals and animals.
What differentiates us is our ability and experience in applying a three-cornerstone approach: science, craft, and art. The natural science of Oral Teachings for study, the craft of practice and experience that converts knowledge into awareness and understanding, and the art that integrates the knowledge into working systems and experiences. This has been our focus since our founding in 2007 and continues with every conversation we take part in.
